9th INTERNATIONAL NAVIGATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
ON MARINE NAVIGATION AND SAFETY OF SEA TRANSPORTATION
TRANS-NAV 2011
We kindly inform that 9th Navigational Symposium will be held from 15 to 17 June 2011 (Wednesday - Friday).
The Symposium is organized by the Faculty of Navigation of the Gdynia Maritime University and The Nautical Institute.
The Symposium is addressed to scientists and professionals in order to share their expert knowledge, experience and research results concerning all aspects of navigation, safety of navigation and sea transportation. More information available on the website: http://transnav.am.gdynia.pl |

The annual meeting of the International Association of Maritime Universities IAMU AGA 11 took place in Pusan in Korea between 15th and 18th October 2010. The motto of the IAMU meeting was: "The Ocean is the Ground to us". The annual meeting was hosted by prof. Keo Don Oh, rector of Korea Maritime University and the IAMU Secretary Mr Hideaki Uematsu. Gdynia Maritime University was represented by a delegation from the Faculty of Navigation which took part in the annual meeting. Gdynia Maritime University will host the next IAMU AGA 12, 2011.
